I just to judge how people trust these dark days

1. I would have when I was started, but maybe now I'd just say "Thanks, that's nice, but I'm good"

3. I'd buy it for half what it was worth, then tell him that, but I hope I'd feel too bad about taking it for 500g. I refused a trade which would have earned me about 15k once
4. No, but I wouldn't expect to get one if I were the one to miss out. The game randomises drops (and presents), so you have to roll with the punches. EDIT: Yes, this is only if we hadn't agreed a 50/50. Always honour your bets!
5. Yes, that's just what happens in trading. It's worth whatever someone will buy it for, not the other way around.
6. No, and I think people who do should feel ashamed.
7. People have tried to scam me, but either luck or sense has saved me.
8. I'd go for b. See number 5. If it was an obvious mistake, then I'd say so.
9. I gather some runners are the trusting ones, as they will only ask for payment at the end outpost. I don't use them, but I'm not sure I'd trust them enough to give money up front even if I did.
10. I don't think I have. That would be cool.

In GTA:San Andreas I can happily pistol whip a ho, stealing back the money I paid her for some services, then steal a car and run over some grannies.

In GW it is still a game, with fake stuff, but at the end of the day it's real people sitting at their PC's, and that's what makes the difference.

I assume you mean they are offering the collector items needed for the armor. Yes

I give them 1 ecto and either pay them half value of the middle ecto (value of ecto based as 1k less than trader) or charge them half the value for the ecto.

Worth is determined by how much someone is willing to pay for an item. Some people don't want to bother spending a long time looking for an item, so they are willing to pay a higher price to get their item faster. Convenience has worth. With this said, yes, but within reason and not in the intention of charging someone more just because they didn't know better.

1. if i couldn't afford my own, yes
2. no, why would i want to?
3. offer to buy it (so they don't trade with someone else first), then tell them some items are worth more than you might think
4. of course, and actually, i'd split the money of my second ecto with him, when i say its 50/50, it IS 50/50
5. not really, i've had people offer over what i asked, and told them, but they insisted
6. only one, when i didn't know the price of a silver dye and sold it for 1.5k
